Endoscopist

I'm writing this review immediately after 2 procedures I had to share my personal experience to help everyone considering Direct Endoscopy.Direct Endoscopy rely mostly on digital systems from the appointment booking, registering patient details, completing patient questionnaire and even subsequent follow up contacts (via email) and providing preparation instructions while minimising human contacts. This will make it much harder for people with less digital literacy and resources.If you want to talk to someone via telephone that'll be an  extremely difficult task. When I wanted to call someone a day before the procedure the call was answered by a robot and hung up after playing a recording that All our operators are currently busy

Couldn't have had an easier experience. Everyone was super friendly and given easy to understand details about my procedure.Highly recommend

Waited 25 minutes on hold where I spoke to the receptionist on three separate occasions as I was put on hold multiple times. Each time she asked what she could help with, when I replied she put me on hold again. I understand that booking in an appointment takes time and information is needed but by the time I had completed booking the appointment I had been on the phone for almost 35 minutes. The centre either needs to hire more reception staff to cater for the number of calls and enquiries coming in or there needs to be a system put in place which is more functional for patients. Phone manner was not professional. I was asked to list medical history and when doing so I was questioned about what certain conditions were in detail.(this was a booking for my mother and i was asked about certain medical terms that I obviously would not know) I am not a doctor and so therefore I may not have the ability to answer a medical question in crude detail. The reception staff need to have some knowledge and educate themselves in these types of areas in order to help with patients.

The nurses at this center are very friendly, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to my anesthetist, a lovely, professional gentleman.5 stars!!

I would highly recommend Dr Das. I had a weight loss procedure with Dr Das in January, and i am extremely happy with the result's and the follow up care. Not only is Dr Das a great surgeon, his receptionist and Practice Manager are fantasric, i found them extremely helpful and and understanding, at all times they were professional and a pleasure to deal with. If you are considering weight loss surgery i would strongly recommend Dr Das and his team.

Unfortunately, this was a bad experience from the time I booked the appointment. After leaving my GP clinic, nervous about the possible prognosis, I rang this place to book a procedure. The receptionist was extremely rude, and her lack of empathy was concerning; clearly, she does not know how going through an illness could affect people's emotions. She cancelled the booking already settled when I told her that her rudeness distressed me. And told me she would leave a red flag, so the next time I call, no one would book my procedure. I thought about reporting this, but unfortunately, I don't know her name.

I was extremely anxious going in for both procedures ,the staff and Drs made me so comfortable and constantly reassuring me.thank you

Had my gastic sleeve and hiatal hernia repair done by Dr Das at the end of August this year. Absolutely fantastic surgeon! Have had no complications what so ever. Amazing with follow up and support after surgery and his team is beautiful. Both Dr Das and his staff are always happy to answer any questions. Highly recommended!

I'm reviewing for the hydrogen breath test.The process for the breath test is excruciating. The pre-test preparation is quite stricter than other places, you end up basically fasting.With that in mind, on the day of the test be prepared for an overly long process. It's so inefficient that both the fructose and lactose tests we did missed the 30 minute mark every time.We arrived at 8:45, it got past 10am before we even got to drink the lactose. By the time we were done, it was 1pm.The staff conducting the process struggle to keep it organised and even more frustrating, both times we went it was 'overbooked'. When it happened the first time, they said it was an anomaly and won't happen again. Next time, it took even longer. On the way out, I heard them say to another participant the same excuse and next time will be better.The clinic needs to be more respectful to the participants. Everyone there has been fasting. There are many ways you can make the process more efficient. Give the drinks out to each participant straight after they have given the baseline test. Don't overbook, especially since the parking availability in the facility is basically non existent. I had to move my car multiple times during the whole process.
